I really like the customizability of Spellwatch, but the limitations that it currently has means that it's, at best, a compliment of, and not a replacement for, DoTimer.

It may not matter too much for other classes, but as a warlock, DoTimer's ability to create separate groups for different targets makes all the difference in the world. When I'm expected to be DPSing one or more targets (which means up to 5 DoTs/Debuffs on each target from myself alone) in addition to CCing up to two more (chain fear one, chain banish another), the ability to easily tell which debuffs are wearing off on which target at a glance is HUGE. Personally, I think DoTimer handled the display aspect very well - eschewing timer bars for just a group of spell icons and the time remaining in text format, with the raid target icon (if it exists) superimposed on top of the icon, is IMO a very elegant solution to an annoying problem (that every bar-style timer mod seems to have had).

I guess since SpellWatch is designed specifically as a "timer BAR" mod and was built that way, the pure "icon + time text" option isn't feasible, but I think the ability to create distinct groups for different targets, and the ability to sort the bars by time would be enough to get me to switch.
