Yeah, I've seen it happen a few times with teammates running arround a pillar, just as I'm about to land a heal, and then they drop dead a few seconds later. I'm worried about when it comes to kiting/using LOS, that I will be behind a pillar my self and not able to get off a heal in time to save a teammate. If the opposing team sees me running around and are quick to react they can easily take advantage of this and just nuke another target before I get the chance to get back in posistion to heal.
When it comes to the question of getting focus fired, I've so far noticed a clear distinction between the different set-ups that we use in our 3vs3 games (the foundation being me and a warrior, then we use either warlock or a mage most of the times). When I'm running with my warlock friend, things go much smoother and I almost never have any trouble with getting focus fired. If the mage is with us, I tend to be the one people aim for. Now I don't know if this is because everyone perceives warlocks as a greater threat or if it's simply a class/skill issue, where the warlock is just that much better at keeping people off me.
So right now I'm going to aim for as much stamina/resilience as possible, without gimping my healing too much. If this doesn't work I guess I'll have to either learn how to play better or get new (and better) teammates.
