I'd love to see a push style map. I was thinking random sides, one team offense one defense, offensive team starts with a flag in their base that they have to bring into the defensive base and cap somewhere. This would assume each team has a random starting side, so neither horde or alliance is always on offense or always on defense.

I'd love to see a non-character combat map as well. Maybe something like team steamtonks or other similar thing (The Fel and the Furious quest comes to mind, or the chess event in karazhan). Basically both teams zone in, and rush to control stations, each station gives you a 3rd person view of something, and you go from there. One major advantage would be the negation of all gear benefits, since you're character doesn't actually do any of the fighting. Various vehicles / siege / high artillery could also be implemented this way (or goblin shredder style) in other normal combat maps as well adding a new dynamic to the play.

I'd also like to see something based off of the happy fun rock style item throwing. Something where you score points based on the time your team has the ball protected. If you've got the ball and are getting attacked, you can throw it to a teammate within range. If you die, the ball is dropped and available for anyone to pick up.

"Regime change under a Bush doctrine. Democratic installations. Constant war for constant soldiers. What are we gonna do now? De-escalation through military force. Increase the pressure. Oh Condoleezza what should we do about the situation in Iran and North Korea? Condoleezza?" Against Me! - From Her Lips To God's Ears (2005)

If a punk band from Florida knows what the Bush Doctrine is, clearly a politician should too, especially one who could be the next Vice President.
