My arena experience is very limited but last week we also encountered one of these dreaded dual POM/pyro groups several times, who either tried to instagib me or our priest. Once AP is up, try to disrupt their burst potential by poly, fear, silence or disorients. Else try dispel or spellsteal (might not work allways). Once the second pyro is delayed by 2 seconds or so, your healers will be able to counter it. And those mages will have lost their most powerfull weapon. Imho these instagib groups are pretty vulnerable to disruption, so use these abilities to their full potential.

But again, I must stress that my survivability in PVP gear isn't all that great, having only one gladiator armor part.
