As a non-combat rogue (come on, it's SO BORING), I still feel like haste is very very good.
I'm 41/20 and with so many proc and equip based items, haste still begets haste+dmg in a lot of cases.
Dragonspine, Mongoose, Thundering Skyfire - all the procs cause more procs with the others.
Not to mention things like extra Romulo or WSC procs... (or coup de grace)
Which is another little thing I like about mutilate. Twice as many chances to proc anything from specials, since it's 60 energy for two swings instead of one. My mongoose uptime is, frankly (subjectively), crazy.
