I just ran a test with immolate.
Base damage at rank 9 is 447-448, ignoring the DoT component. At 982 damage, without any proc trinkets or items, i pretty consistently got this.
Immolate hits - 712 - 713
Immolate crits - 1488 - 1489
The crits were quite a bit higher than i expected.
