World Of Warcraft has low Frame Rates.
So its kinda official.
PS. 100.54 version of drivers hadn't that issue, but its 6 month behind and i switched to XP back, so cant test it.
PPS: Just looked deeper in Release Notes and didnt notice that there is such issue in 64 bit Vista...

I can not recall my FPS in Shat ever dipping below 60 and averages 80-100. Ironforge by the bank is among the worst fps for every computer Ive ever seen (beaten by fel cannons in Ogrila) so I use that as a gold standard for worst case WoW fps. I use the recount graphical FPS meter so I would see any dips in fps. People reporting 30fps with a 8800 card have some sort of configuration that is different than mine (yes im using 32bit vista).
There IS a problem with nvidia drivers and some of the dual core AMD processors though. If you have this combination, the only way i could get good performance was by setting WoW to high priority and only using 1 core. There is a thread in the official wow support forums for this.
