He doesn't hit hard on the whole but his bleeds do double damage (starts at like 2k and can go up to 7k) with mangle. Imho this guys swipe damage is ridiculous, it rivals magtheridons cleave attack.

Brutal Swipe is a "Saber Lash" effect. Put melee in front of him to soak the splash.
