I've made boatloads of money fishing, and there is never any competition. I fish mostly in Skettis for the Crawdads and Golden Darters, but also stop by the Elemental Plateau to quickly fish up a Primal Water or two. If all of the Pure Water pools are up, I can easily get 4 primals in 10 minutes.
I've also made a good deal of money just by selling the netherweave that drops when grinding Mag'har and Consortium rep mobs in Nagrand and Netherstorm.
