I haven't seen this posted yet and since it will be relevant soon:
Camp the heck out of the two Darkmoon faire limited supply vendors.
It will probably be camped a lot or some depending on your server. If you are determined and have odd hours, you can end up doing quite well. It might not generating as much cash as straight-up farming but it's not bad.
Last DMF, I ended up with MANY black lotus (80?), fel lotus and assorted herbs, motes and blue gems. The herb merchant usuallly re-supplies his limited supply herbs every 15-20 mins.
Quick tip: Don't buy the talasite or super Healing/mana pots unless your AH justifies it.
