You just hop off the Dragonhawk temple and walk across the path to the lynx area. You can skip a patrol and another pack as well. You may kill a total of at most one extra pack vs. the "waterfall" route outlined above, but you also save a fair bit of travel time that more than makes up for it. (I'd recommend checking out the video I linked in the second post as it shows both the exact route and various paladin tanking uses.)
