Q: With the launch of Season 3 for arena's, Season 1 gear became available for honor. My question is - when Season 4 starts, will Season 2 gear be available ... [for honor?]
A: That's the plan Stan. (Subject to change)
It probably won't be as big, because it will most certainly be dissociated from the release of Sunwell Isle. Now, as I said somewhere, that's one of the bigger gear floods in the game, and people will try to emulate the Season 3 success.

However, if people got rich once, and they pulled it off again a second time, people who had no business with the AH will notice a pattern and prepare for the next big gear flood...

According to WowHead, some bosses in MC have an estimated wealth of 100 gold onwards:
Ragnaros
Gehenas

Now, unless that wealth consist of gold dropped + average vendor value of the epics dropped, I'd say it's pretty worthwhile for 10 people to farm it.

Also,I'm not sure how accurate the data is, or how many sample kills they're based on, but some bosses, like Magmadar and Garr, show no estimated wealth, while some have around 40ish gold worth of wealth:
Lucifron
Shazraah

I hardly think they'd have a reason to release season 2 armor for honor points AFTER WOTLK then, and seeing as they just claimed that's the plan, well... season 4 will be based on non class specific sets in Sunwell, I guess...

They'll just release it after Kil'Jaden has been on farm for a while, and when the amount of so called tier 6.5 geared people will is significant enough to have an impact on top ranked arena matches.
