This just happened on Monday. :X
Our previous mage tank on Illidan council was away for two weeks. We haven't killed him but came close and they were expected to die that day. First pull on Council for that day. I was designated mage tank (had never done it before). My first pull, absolutely nervous and stressed out. Raid leader gives off lots of instructions, etc etc, including the last one to me "run in after BOP is cast on you".
The whole raid gets ready. Priest casts power word shield on me. I was just so nervous that once I saw that shield appear on me, I just started running forward immediately ... and promptly get squished by all 4 of the council who then proceeds to wipe the entire raid... >_< (I had run in before BOP or misdirect had been cast on me yet)
Much laughter by the raid, though I received much scolding by our raid leader. He even questioned if I knew what BOP looked like. lol Luckily, I was allowed to continue as mage tank and we eventually did kill Council later that night. I swear it was really a touch of nerves. I don't know why I confused BOP with power word shield, but still, it was silly of me and I feel really stupid everytime I think back on that pull. lol
Thankfully I have gotten the hang of being mage tank for Illidan council now. But I think I will remember that pull for a very very long time. :P
