Silliest thing I did recently was on Azzalgore.
Had died on the last wave before the boss, but as we had 2 rogues we managed to dalay him long enough for me to get rez, buffs, and even drink up.
He is already at the gates and the leaders are screaming at me on VT "Misdirect him to the tank!". So I press the spell button, run thowards him and fire an arcane shot. Only that no shot comes out. Distracting - noting, auto - nothing, arcane again - still nothing.
Now the tank is getting realy nervous watiching the misdirect seconds tick down and starts flaming me as only main tanks can. As the boss thunders thowards me I start to back away dubious of what is wrong. And the clue - a red bow icon, hidden deep under raid unit frames..

The exact same thing happened to our hunter last night too lol,
Weiss:"shit my gun's red!"
RL:"well is there anything you can MD with?!"
Weiss:"erm raptor strike?"
Doing Illidan last night, and one of our mages was having a worse than usual day.
Pulled aggro on flame, blaze landed as the flame hit her, group died.
The next pull, in the Leo-Demon phase, she stands ~30 yards away from Illidan and starts casting frostbolts as the Shadow Demons are 3 seconds away from spawning. After previously dying multiple times, you'd think said mage would have learnt. Anyway, she wasnt targeted by a shadow demon that time. However, she kept on casting frost bolts at Illidan (our guild *never* dps's Illidan at all during Demon phase, for a range of reasons). She kept casting frostbolts as the phase changed. Naturally 2 frostbolts is more threat than the MD, and Illidan goes running to her. She Ice Blocks and it snaps back to the tank.
After the kill, with people asking her wtf she was doing: "I lagged".

And yeah same illidan last night, our top Spriest managed to kill himself with a SWD crit the same time he got flameburst. His 2nd death for that attempt too. Sigh.
