After a few weeks/months of effort going for the timed event in ZA, we had finally managed the previous week to reach the lynx and miss the bear by about 1.5 minutes. The next week we went in ready to go and killed dragonhawk with about 18 minutes left on the timer. We were positive we were going to make it as long as no one screwed up. We finally get to halazzi and we have 8 minutes left.

Awesome we usually kill him in 3 minutes so no problem "Just dont mess up". We step in and dps him down to 75% and the lynx spawns and our Prot pally gets a taunt resist... there goes the lynx owning our Shaman healer. No problem he was supposed to get a soulstone right? - Warlock "Uhh whoops" Ok ele shammy switches to healing no problem. We dps him down and are doing alright... it's not perfect but we get him to 25% lynx comes out and right after they reform *bam* down goes the prot pally. Oh no...25% down 2 people so i yell at the other warlock to go in and start taking saberlashes and all i can think is man we are going to mess this up. So the warlock goes in on the tank and thankfully we dps the last 25% down no problem. There wasn't even a saberlash to kill off the walrock /cry.

We walk outside to take a picture and we are trying to figure out how it went so wrong when the lynx is never a problem and all of a sudden the raid leader asks the prot pally why he isnt as pink as usual (4/5 t5 and pink weapon). The Pally looks at his gear...."Oh my bad - I still had all my FR on from dragonhawk." So end of story fireresist doesn't work all that well for Halazzi; however, it did make what seemed like an easy first bear a pretty tense experience
