Who gets it will be determined by whatever combination of dkp / bidding and/or loot assignment you use. Its the same as the badge system we've seen for years now.
The real issue if those numbers are right is that:
Rogue & Feral = 11.92% + 3.20% = 15.12% want that leather piece.
holy Priests & cloth DPSers = 5.84% + 21.12% = 26.96% want that cloth piece.
healing & tanking Pala = 9.10% + 1.49% = 10.59% want that "magic" plate piece
(possibly) Hunters & enhShammie = 9.81% + 4.09% = 13.90% want that mail piece
tank Warrior & DPS Warrior & Retadins = 12.24% + 8.54% = 20.78% want that other plate piece
resto Shammy & elemShammy = 4.56% + 2.22% = 6.78% want that other mail piece
resto Druid & Moonkins = 4.38% + 0.54% = 4.92% want that other leather piece
If the loot percentages are the same for each drop (and they may not be, we just don't know at this point), its a great day to be a caster druid/shammy and a very bad day to be a Warrior (either tank or dps), Retadin, priest or cloth dps caster.

No, it isn't about any "class wars" in winning loot, it is about approximate overall raiding population and loot distribution, which i am hoping Blizzard takes into account when designing 'shared' loot. Or not.
Fact is, that by pure logic, both RPG and "ordinary" one, and in line with how loot was and still is usually distributed, this seems best there can be - especially taking into regard the point of view you added - leather-wearers share, plate-wearers share, etc.
My point was not directed at a particular raid set-up in a particular guild, just a remark on how many people from each class share loot in regards to raid "presentness" of individual speccs... In the end, what makes sense and is more or less "fair" in percentages of tokens wanted by certain 2classes groups, doesn't seem that "balanced" when you take the specifics into account.
Anyway, point is rather moot, when you add randomness of drops (could easily happen that for a certain guild warrior plate drops every kill, making the most wanted type get sharded first :p) and the fact we don't know if certain pieces have a higher drop chance, nothing is ever fair from the "losers" point of view
