I tried DW PVP pre-BC and you need a lot of +hit or you're going to miss a lot. Unless things have changed regarding DW +hit for PVP you're not going to get the +hit you need from PVP gear to be viable imo. You swing more often but when a good percentage of those swings miss it really doesn't matter.
You could use some PVE gear but you're going to lose resilience which will make you an easier kill, especially in 5s.
