I agree with Constantinus here, CoH is simply amazing in Sunwell 3 first bosses, can't say anything about the 3 latter bosses.
On Kalecgos CoH is very good on normal world, in my opinion maybe even better than on demon world. The groups are close enough, the damage hits everyone, and the groups need to be topped fast. Our raid is far from perfect avoiding portal damage, and CoH has a big part in topping them fast. Of course shaman can heal them, but it's way too slow in my liking. PoH problem is that you are limited to your own group, with CoH you can keep other groups healed also.
On Brutallus we used in the beginning 3 tank + 3 soak group tactic, and I was healing all the soakers easily alone (we hit the enrage with this tactic). We changed to 2 tank + 2group tactic, and moved a shaman to heal soak groups with chain heal, targetting MT most of the time. Both worked, but in my opinion I'm more useful in MT healing on this fight, and not only because of inspiration. I was landing a heal on average over 6k every 2.5 second for the full duration of the fight, there's no way a shaman could have done the same.
On Felmyst we use 2 CoH priest, and they both can hit 18-20 targets from their position with CoH, and everyone in raid is in range to at least one of these CoH priests. CoH is insanely good on this fight: at least we do get sometimes 1 tick of Gas Nova on some group, but it does not matter since in 3 seconds they are back on full hp, way before next encapsulation. Also, after encapsulation when the group might not be full HP, CoH can top them fast enough before the next Gas Nova, that can happen few seconds after encapsulation ending. Also, CoH is very good in the start of p2 when you might be healing while moving.
We thought of using Pain Supression priests instead of CoH priests to help with the encapsulation healing, but it simply did not feel worth it. We have 1 resto druid and 3 resto shamans in our setup, the NS heals from them + instants from priests are enough to keep the encapsulation target alive. It's much more important topping the group really fast after encapsulation since the Gas Nova might come in 2 seconds. Time reduction on mass dispell seemed also useless, you would be able to dispell one group only fast because of the global cd, 1.5 second mass dispell and casting CoH immidiately after it seemed to be the best combo for us.
