Edit: The advantage of Lifeblooms on tanks should be obvious in any fight though. I almost feel like Captain Obvious for saying that Lifeblooms are very helpful to keep tanks up...

Yes, but it's my perception that many resto druids are being used on Burn, and not on MTs on this fight (it is also how my guild is using our druid). And what it you don't have two resto druid?
I do like your argument for precasting on the tank swaps -- to me that's a nice buffer. But during the straight tank healing, I don't think druids are as strong. I will say that I did zero testing with our druid healing on the tanks. So I could be just plain wrong. It wouldn't be first time.
