Keep in mind the, at least on my realm and according to others in this very thread, green gems ability to sell amazingly well, highly overpriced (or inflated, whatever rocks your boat) and very fast when cut. It still makes brilliant glass viable, but it's not that huge of an income source when you consider the whole picture.
