On normal mobs Taunt carries the same resist penalties as a spell, which means there is always a 1% chance to be resisted. It is obvious that Brutallius has been modified as tanks would be looking at 17% resist rate with no +hit, making the encounter somewhere between a dice roll and russian roulette. It is interesting that Demo and TC got added to the modification as well, as various levels of +hit have never affected their chance to be resisted.
