Based on how easy it is to get expertise, I can honestly say I'll probably be using Pendant of the Titans and Myrm Treads (when I get a pair) forever. Having both and maybe 1-2 hit gems will account for ~4% hit which is more than fine in my books.
Resocketting T6 at some point for mitigation/hit may also be a realistic option. I'm still baffled why absolutely no tanking gear we've seen from Sunwell has hit rating.
