Ah my mistake, for whatever reason spell reflect seems not effected by this, probably intended, I assumed it would extend to shield slam but apparently not. You could, however, start the pull with a +hit shield then swap it immediately after the shield slam. Presumably the GCD would over lap the GCD penalty of the weapon swap.
