The problems with growl drove me away from playing my Hunter alt. In ZA/2.3 badge gear it is impossible for my pet to hold aggro past a couple of auto shots even when I am BM spec. It's pretty funny that hunters are penalized for improving their gear by making it even more laborious to do daily quests and farm non-elite outdoor mobs.
