I see from your armoury page that you made the leap. Good job! BM is fairly easy if you remember a few basic things:
1. Manage your pet. Your pet will be about 25-33% of your overall dps. Send it in (growl off!) as soon as you can and keep it healed. Some fights it's better to keep your pet on the main target while you switch to various adds. For example, I put my pet on Curator while I dps the arcane sparks.
2. Use trinkets in conjunction with rapid fire. Save up a few badges and pick up Bloodlust Broach. Use it with Bestial Wrath and Rapid Fire for a huge spike in damage.
3. Use a spam macro at least while you're learning the new spec. It will get you decent dps while you figure things out. As a BM hunter you want to use either the 3:2 or the 1:1 rotation macros (not the 1:1.5):
/cast !Auto Shot
/cast Steady Shot
*OR*
/castsequence !Auto Shot, Steady Shot
4. Steady shot is your new best friend. Use Arcane only when moving.
I too was a convert from MM and had a difficult time keeping my pet alive until I repeced it, but I literally doubled my dps when I switched to BM and used a correct shot rotation. Now I top the charts almost every fight. Good luck!
