Back when I was farming Arcane Crystals for my Hand of Rag, I found that the best route was to tour around EPL and WPL. A good run( all spawns up and no competition ) could net me 8 Rich Veins and 2 small in ~45 min. Course, I was a T1/2 geared level 60 pally at the time, so I'm sure that time estimate would drop even further. I hated the Un'goro/Silithus routes because of the damn bugs, but now that they aren't elite and I'm no longer level 60, that prolly wouldn't be a bad route to go either.
