Assuming you go whole-hog for +12 stamina gems in both cases:

Battlescar + Crab = 52 stamina, ~3.4% full avoidance, ~0.9% block, 997 armor

Blue's + Vengeance = 121 stamina, ~4.3% block, and some threat, 1213 armor

So basically, assuming you're uncrittable either way, it's pretty much a flat conversion of 3.4% miss/dodge/parry into block in exchange for ~750hp (with talents/BoK), 216 armor, and some threat.

I'd take that, if you don't have any other need for the badges.
