57 maybe, 56 would probably annoy you too much. First the boars are just deadly and they will aggro on you from quite a ways. Buzzards are pretty much doable and maybe some of the orcs provided you can keep the runners down.

I think that I took my hunter and rogue both there at 58. Questing with my rogue wasn't fun due to significant downtime he had healing up after fights. Those orcs and boars hit pretty hard. He had good Azeroth gear, but grinding/questing didn't get easier until he picked up more Outland gear and weapons. The hunter had it easier but feigned death a lot to survive because of aggroing too many boars or orcs in the area. I'll be taking my mage there in a few more levels and probably won't go early.
It makes sense to try to team up with someone (either equal level or higher) to get through the first few quest lines for better gear. And do Ramparts as soon as you can for additional gear.
