I tried it this morning for about 2 hours as a Hunter and I did not see it proc once off any ranged ability. I tried Serpent Sting, Immolation Trap, Viper Sting, Arcane Shot (as well as some others) -- none procced it. I was really hoping that It would, might have been interesting to use in PvP.

Anyways, the tooltip doesn't say it procs off ranged attacks... so why would it?
