He says it has something to do with his name which starts with Pet, and something that has to do with Ace, but is there something someone has done for this?

I use the Hotcandy add on for this. (got mine through Ace) It doesn't work "within" grid. But instead lists all those you have hots on and how many. You can move, re-size, and adjust the bars on it. I have tried about 10 methods of tracking hots--and I found this one was THE best for Resto druid healing.
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE Grid...but never found a hot tracker that worked with it to my liking. I still use grid-- just use this with it.
