Say the game took 1/2 hour to start up, requiring you to select options at a series of screens. Would you still play? I certainly wouldn't. I know this is different by factors of magnitude but it illustrates my point that your time isn't "free".

Your argument is still ridiculous. There is nobody in the world getting paid $50/hr for their so-called free time. By definition, your free time is time you're not being paid for which you can do whatever you like with. As a consequence you may put a value on it, but there is no way you can seriously say that doubling your password input time (from 5 seconds to 10 seconds) is worth $500+ real dollars over 3 years.
Doubling your password input time is still an insignificant time investment compared to the total amount of time you spend actually playing the game.
Your straw man suggesting that some company would actively market a game where a significant time not playing said game is also ridiculous.
I'm pretty sure I've made my point clear, there will be no need for me to continue this thread derail.
