First, 14 hours 15 seconds at a time is worth far less than 14 hours condensed because you couldn't do anything meaningful in that wasted time when its broken up like that (which is why the half-hour comparison isn't symmetric). Second, realistically you log in at the same time and get 15 seconds less to play, so the monetary value is coming out of your subscription fee and not your other spare free time, much less your salaried time.
I have many more points beyond those, but that starts getting into how economics is properly a descriptive, not prescriptive, system. Suffice it to say, I believe in Hume's Law and Goodhart's Law.
