However, the nature of the addon is that it casts things on the upstroke of the hotkey, so if you weren't holding a hotkey...? Maybe he'll introduce it later, because it doesn't seem as though that would work now.

As far as the rogue/shaman shared ring, you could probably make this and just add the items on both characters. I haven't tried it, but that seems like it would work.
