Becoming a Legend

It is said that Caesar, First Emperor of Rome, in fact was the master mind behind his own murder. His famous last words "Et tu Brute" were not the surprised cry of a betrayed friend, but instead the command for Brutus to do his job: kill the emperor. Caesar wanted to be remembered, above anything else. His conclusion was obvious: being murdered by his fellow Senators, on the Senate floor in Rome, is one hell of a way to get your name out.

Your every day World of Warcraft raider is no different than Caesar: he wants to be remembered. He wants to be known when he leaves as "that guy that tanked/healed/dps'd better than anyone ever has". Its a warm and fuzzy feeling to know that you are that 'past legend' whos amazing exploits are still brought up in vent by the gruff veterans, often times exaggerating that persons skills to near mythic proportions.

Unfortunately most WoW raiders are pretty stupid and will never be good enough to be the fond memory of others. For those of you, I suggest following the lead of that emo fuck Julius Caesar: get creative. Instead of being the best there ever was, be the worst! Instead of being the pinnacle of leadership and maturity, flip the fuck out on vent, accusing an officer of cybering with you. Post naked pictures on the forum of you with various barn yard animals. If you really want to be sure your name will never be forgotten, ninja loot your guilds first War Glaive (extra points if its a Main Hand)! Become oddly religious and tell your guild its your destiny to become a real life paladin (Post a picture of yourself 6 months later in a Leper Colony deep in the Congo). The possibilities are endless.
