GEoBE: Tankin' it like a Champ
I've been kind of disappointed by the general Shadowburn population as of late. I guess I'm just unlucky because my guildmates, fellow server blog readers and random e-friend alwats send me tells in-game and join "The Dawg House" on vent to tell me about bad heroic groups I get into. What I'm getting at is that I've also experienced some great, under geared, polite people who do a pretty fine job at their role.
Side note: I'll be interested how the next few weeks of LFG Tool pan out because most high playtime/hardcore people will slack off on badges/queuing because they have all the main spec gear they want need. Of course there are exceptions but I know that many people in my guild have 4 piece already for example. Will this increase the number of random idiots that I get to group with? For the sake of this blog section I hope so!
Onward to today's heroic on my Shaman!
Who: Myself (Natedawg), Ttank (Warrior - Moonrunner), Alorae (Rogue - in guild), Wreckt (Paladin - in guild), Iccer (Mage - in guild).
The Heroic: Pit of Saron (doh!)
Feel free to armory Ttank if you want, many players with a grasp on the game with a semi ~no BS attitude in game might laugh at his gear, ponder his play ability and wonder how often said person get's dumped on or vote kicked. Ttank was not the case. Pre-judgement and "lols" in guild chat he lived up to the hype and correctly fulfilled his name. He gathered those mobs up and tanked the shit out of them. I play a Warrior and am an ~average tank (lol fast queues!) and I'm not going to lie I get nervous queuing up with my guildmates because I know they're just going to all DPS their own target, AoE and make the run as fast as they can. I'm not sure who has the most threat building abilities as DPS in our group but I'm sure it wasn't fun for Ttank. See:

I personally get excited when people in my groups do 2000 DPS, but he had a job to do and he did it well. Now sure there are some CDs on the right of my screen, but Ttank did a great job (for having a Warlock and Priest alt, sounded like his 3rd toon.) He was polite and friendly, didn't slow us down and wasn't an idiot. I'm sure some of you at home, in the library or mooching McDonald's free WiFi in the parking lot could learn from him.
Tune in next time for tales of super bads (or goods), e-peen and rambling.
