Today, while at the grocery store, I overheard a bagger telling a clerk his secret in getting women to be his steady lady. Two words: Olive Garden.

"I treat my women real good; take them someplace fancy like Olive Garden. I pay for it and everything."

I had groceries in my hand and could not write down his exact words or many of his other pearls of wisdom so I will try to reconstruct his other reasons the ladies love him....

What I'm going to describe here is a technique that is used by Neal and Garry to create outer glows of any color for any frame in any size with the need of only one texture.

This is done by making full use of the SetBackdrop Widget.

Before we start we need two textures.
- one for the background
- one for the outer glow

Both textures will be of white color. The alpha layer of the background texture will be filled with full white aswell....

I feel lucky to have a pretty fun, yet demoralizing atmosphere here at EJ, especially in the Benefactors Bar but I wanted to make a post about expectations and opinions of tomorrows pending release. My Warcraft "career" (if you want to call it that) has been a slow and meandering trek from complete ignorance of the intracacies of Warcraft to an awakening on the mechanics of the game to a useful and experienced player. I have never been in a major guild and haven't ever had the opportunity for organized raiding. I'm certain opinions will vary but I imagine that raiding with an organized and well structured guild is generally more productive and perhaps more enjoyable than what I do....
