It's been a few weeks since posting, and my WoW playtime has pretty much hit 0.

*The 'guys' I've raiding with for four years have quit for real life and kids.
*My kids, being only slightly younger, will demand that I quit in a year anyway.
*For me, this game sucks without the end-raiding; and there isn't anything that holds my interest in WoW anymore (besides hardmode 25man, which again... is limited to a year at best.)
*I hit the WoW goldcap (/golfclap). So,...

There are times when light bulbs shine while trying to find better ways of doing things. Here are some of my 'oh yeah' moments when raiding the AH:
1. Most Players are Kara/Naxx25 pug players who logon for the weekend only.
2. DISenchanting will always make far more money than enchanting ever will.
3. Organization of AH alts is key.
4. Female AH alt names have a better chance to sell expensive items than other alternatives.

How many times have you heard "I don't have any gold. My professions suck at making gold. Some people say professions make gold, but they're wrong." Once is too many, probably. I have made gold with almost every profession (haven't played a blacksmith yet, but helped a guildie turn it into a gold making engine). This is not intended to be exhaustive, but to get you thinking appropriately.

AH raiding is churning along. Pulled 9k this weekend net:

Ore: spent 1k
Gems: sold 2k (now have 2-3 stacks of each rare gem for 3.1)
Herbs: spent 500g (expensive this weekend)
Inscription: sold 2.5k (used up a lot of stored ink)
Snowfall ink: sold 3k
Jewelry: sold 2k
crafting mats: spent 1k
Enchantments: sold 2k

I'm beginning to stockpile ink for 3.1 dual spec rush. I don't expect the rush...
