Introduction

Posted 02/26/09 at 1:43 PM by Derrek
I have been playing WoW since the Burning Crusade release. I have raided T4, T5, T6 and some of Sunwell pre-nerf. For WotLK I have rerolled a druid and have completed all current T7 raid content (10/25), while still working on 3D. Being a mid-30s professional and father of four, my raid time occurs after my young children are in bed. I don't generally have time to farm instances, herbs, or ore, as around 70-80% of my playtime is in a raid.

Through raiding the Auction House, I make around 1-2k gold per day, spending 40-60m a day 'AH raiding'. The most gold I have had in TBC was 86k, before I decided to go horde and gear for WotLK in a very short period of time (and watch it drop to 10k).

My goal for the blog is to go over various tactics I have used to make gold, and occasionaly update what I have been doing. (This won't be a regular blog.)

Coming entries:
-AH raiding mentallity
-Using crafting professions for gold
-Aquiring private farmers
-Dealing with the massive undercutter/ breaking the monopoly
-Patch Notes, Arena seasons, Dungeon Tiers, and the average player
