Lunar Shower Rotation
I wanted to see how strong or weak Moonkin's Lunar Shower is.
I took Hamlet's Cata spreadsheet (Oct 1 version), and added a new tab named LS. That tab computes rotation DPS slightly differently, but does so using values from the original spreadsheet.
Two further changes:
- Uses current Sunfire mechanics (3s DoT, not affected by Haste).
- Includes both the "normal" rotation, and one where during Solar Eclipse, MF-spam is used instead of Wrath. In this case, Solar lasts long enough for SS to be cast seven times (6.5 SS cooldowns).
I think the only changes I made to the existing spreadsheet were:
- Glyph SS instead of Wrath
- Spec 2/2 BotG
The DPS numbers look surprisingly (disturbingly) good. I'm sort of hoping someone will find a mistake that makes my changes much too optimistic.
I know the time percentages would change a little bit with 3 NG/2 minutes, rather than 2 NG/minute, but that just drops the average NG haste from 7.5% to 5%, not a huge difference.
