Second one today.

Just have a rather simple question for you;

Would you say that 2pc T8 and 2pc T9 is better than 4pc T8? The Electrified DoT does less than 2% of my zonewide DPS in all groups and raids, depending on what we're doing, I usually parse 4k+ (usually doing 10man). The way I figure it, the more time Flame Shock stays on the mob, the more lightning bolts (1 or 2 plus a Lavaburst) you can get in, which will do more than Electrified.

Just want to hear what you have to say about it! Thanks.

Well, you found the "Send a PM to Bink" button, I wonder if you could have reached to find the "Look at Binks blog entries since 3.2 was released" button to find this and this. Heck, even reading through the aptly named [Elemental] Patch 3.2 thread to find that information (it's on the third page, so it's not that hard to find).

Next time, search more. If searching fails, use some common sense and look in places that might actually contain some useful information, since it's not like anyone else would have thought to ask this question.

PS: Your gearing is a total joke. Crit & haste gems? Plus you aren't anywhere near getting two Tier 9 items yet.

[e]He sent a PM back.

I could use the "it's my blog and I can do what I want with it" line, but instead I'm going for the "dear god man, can't you use your brain to find the answer?" line. It took me ~2 minutes of looking through the 3.2 thread to find the answer, and even less when looking through my previous blog entries. As my signature says, feel free to send me a PM, but if it's something you could have answered yourself, prepare for it to be posted here.

I wonder if all these Blog posts will simmer down the stupid PMs .

That's the plan. Although if anyone does send me a PM with an actual valid question I'll probably post it too (although not make fun of it).

Getting real, valid questions and providing in-depth answers is a good format and purpose for a blog. It's time-tested and if nothing else, will provide filler content if you feel like you need it.

Except when pretty much all of those questions can be answered elsewhere (ie: via the TTT entry, Shaman forum, or the spreadsheet). I'm not a Q&A blogger that posts gear lists and best enchants, etc.

I never meant to paint you as that type of writer if you got that impression. I just wanted to point out that it's an easy way to fill space if you ever feel the need.

Many good blogs all over the internet have crumbled under the pressure of "Every post must be epic and meaningful to everyone." Let's face it, whether it's intended or not, EJ sets up that kind of expectation. After being a few articles in and with no patches on the horizon, many bloggers have died out for a perceived lack of content.

Now, obviously you're not in that position but maybe some other writers are and for them doing a few Q/A style posts might be a good way to get back in.

Eh, if there's a question I haven't answered yet (that isn't stupid) then I'll update the TTT entry.

At least the ones you get are (mostly) readable, bink. Some of the stuff I get... just wow

While I sympathise with Bink, Arikah definitely has a point. Stupid ret paladins make stupid any-other-class look like model EJ posters.

We really should have a winner-takes-all stupidity contest. A thread that's dedicated to discovering just which class has the highest (lowest?) quality of stupid posters on average.

I mean, the stupidity in rets, DKs, and hunters is well documented. But which would win the day in a round robin tournament of fail?
