Wednesday night was a rough night. We managed to kill the first three in Hyjal, but it wasn't without its drama. The raid seems to be a lot less successful without the GM there, and some of the officers get power trippy and piss off a few people. Having said that overall it was a good effort, though a couple of Anetheron wipes left a sour taste in everyones mouth.

Okay, Warhammer Online! Bit of background, I played Warhammer the tabletop game for a while between about 16 and 18 years old (23 as I’m writing this) and I really enjoyed it. I loved game, the figures, the background especially, and the whole wacky atmosphere that was brought to an otherwise incredibly gritty and dark universe. Tonight was the guilds first venture into Black Temple. With most characters rolling around in T4/Badge/some T5 I expected I had expected us to struggle somewhat on Naj'entus, but was confident that he'd die. After a 15% first pull we readjusted our strat a few times, tried swapping to a Druid tank and had a few crush issues, we managed to kill him fairly early in the night.

Hey, it's been a while since I posted bad code. OK! Here we go!

This is a pair of scripts which I use to automatically handle log uploads. My goal was to be able to allow people to upload logs into an FTP directory, and run a script out of cron that would periodically check that directory and do intelligent things. I'm anal, so I wanted the logs to be renamed, organized, and so forth.
