A friend of mine and I have started a 2v2 team this season. We figured the brutal gladiator set will be a good set of gear to mix into our leveling gear for Lichking. Since we only have M'uru and KJ left to kill in Sunwell, there may be some downtime in our future. With the various dailies, respec costs aren't too big a deal so we can afford to be PVP spec'd when we aren't raiding.

There's just one little problem, my partner (Morogoth) is usually a shadowpriest and is starting...

I believe once the Rogues get a little better gear they'll actually perform really well - the potential is there.

A few people have been following my tale on the forums and in EJIRC, and have suggested I blog it - so here goes.

I am conducting a personal experiment where I am taking my T6 Troll Mage to a much less-progressed guild on a relatively new server, Dreadmaul.

The focus guild, Inertia, is a solid, friendly guild full of great guys that raid somewhat casually (3 nights a week, totalling around 12 hours). Due to the dynamics of this server and random guilds falling apart...

Cut to the Chase is the talent that seems to be intended to crown Assassination as a viable PvE DPS spec alongside combat swords in Wrath of the Lich King. If you don't have to refresh Slice and Dice, then you can devote more of your generous combo point supply towards finishers, increasing your DPS. In theory, it's a great idea.
