These forums are unique in several ways, one of which is that it's a breeding ground for in-depth discussions regarding the high end of WoW.

With this in mind, people need to understand that this makes it the wrong place to ask for basic and/or personalized advice. We welcome all visitors, and encourage each of you to fully participate in whatever thread/topic/discussion you find pertinent and interesting, but please don't post asking people to do things such as:

• evaluate your WWS (unless the thread specifically calls for it)
• how to increase your DPS
• compare weapons, enchantments or armor pieces
• evaluate specs
• comment on your group's class composition
• look at your gear (this includes linking to the WoW armory WHICH HAS ALREADY BEEN DONE IN YOUR PROFILE)
• etc...

The best way to learn is to do your own research - search and read. And read. And read. Yes, we know that some of the threads are daunting, but that's a sign that it contains LOTS of information and that there's a VERY good chance your question has been answered already. And consider that if every person asked for tailored advice, discussions would get interrupted and veered off-topic, making those valuable threads a shitty clutter of "HAY IM NEW HALP PLZ" posts.

With that said, be warned that anyone choosing to ignore any of this will receive an infraction.
