Hunters focus more on crit or ap?

Shibam Glass Joe Shibam Tauren Hunter <Doomhammer Guard> Hellscream	Hunters focus more on crit or ap? I was debating whether or not to pursue other beast lord items but most of them lack any crit rating and since tbc ive been collecting all crit gear due to % dropping. so my question is would beast lord stuff be effective in way of dps? or stick with crit?
