I'm working with them to release more information or to refrain from posting future previews that cause this kind of uproar and confusion.

Posting this after reading all the replies (including the flask changes, etc.) I have to point out that the community reaction here was to be expected.
You, Tigole, are the steward not only of a big part of an engaging MMO, but also of a legacy of greatness (Blizzard's fantastic video games) that you were not around to help create. People are passionate not only about WoW but about the fact that they expect stellar games from Blizzard. I would wager that a vast majority of the people who become so emotional about any video game are also the kind who pursue the raiding game in WoW. Introduce a raid game with major flaws, and boom, you have a powder keg.
For the past 3 months, WoW has failed to deliver on the great legacy of Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo, and there has been
almost no communication from anyone about the problem. Before today it required the
stars to align for you to post on the official forums or these boards.
You see that even a tiny post with real information and actual dialogue can have enough impact to bring EJ's servers to their knees. People like Quigon and Jager (and I include myself) are simply ecstatic over the changes and the communication from your side. I feel like singing a good spiritual or two for Pete's sake. (Free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last!)
The same people who are passionate about this game are thirsty for some communication. For the history of WoW, that communication has been sorely lacking on Blizzard's part. Especially when it becomes clear to the more astute raiders that your CMs are underinformed or have a gag order, they want to hear info from the horse's mouth. For the raid game, that's you.
If you and the rest of the dev team had simply come out and said, "We didn't really get to finish major sections of TBC's content, including outdoor content and big changes to the raid game and professions, before we had to ship the game," then a lot of people would have been patient with you and waiting with little bitching. (At least on these boards, I can't speak for the cesspool of the official forums.) But there was nothing. What we got was near to stone-cold silence.
So yes, people overreacted and jumped to conclusions. We were wrong, and we're happy to have been wrong. But damn, talk to us more, would you?
