Inspired by a thread long past on these boards whereby the loot tables for most pre-Naxx raid bosses were analysed, I give you: the Kara boss loot tables, split into groups. Kara bosses uniformly continue the trend of dropping one loot from column A and one loot from column B.

Prince has the most fun breakdown. As I suspected from our first three kills, his split is weapon and not-weapon. Most of the bosses have at least a mini-pattern in the groups (e.g. Maiden and Attumen have all their bracers in one group and all their gloves in the other; Nightbane has all his BPs together; Aran has all his boots together), which seems to be a change of philosophy from the more random groupings we saw in the past. The only things I recall them lining up before was weapons (e.g. Lok'amir & Crul'shorukh in one group of Nef's table and SotSF & Ashkandhi in the other).

I hate to do this, but DKP linkage or it didn't happen. I had a ton of data for the Chess Event, it was the 2nd table completed after Moroes, and just pulling up a few random DKP entries from random guild sites (ones I didn't already use, in case I got fed bad data earlier) confirms to me that ring and headdress are not in the same group.

Used three different DKP sites to make these, let me know if you find any mistakes. High King Maulgar, Fathom-Lord Karathress, Leotheras the Blind and Void Reaver aren't listed because they only drop two tokens and one extra item.

Looking at Netherspite's listing at WoWHead, I'm lead to believe that at least some bosses have at least some truly "rare" drops (roughly 1/2 the drop rate of the other items on that table?). Most of his items drop fairly equally, while at least one item has a very significantly lower noted drop rate.

So aside from annecdotal "My guild has cleared Karazhan X times in Y months, and we've only seen 1" (which is true), WoWHead seems to support my theory.

That said, WoWHead also lists the Dragonspine Trophy as Gruul's highest drop by a small amount, thus leading me to believe that it is as common as anything else, though we've yet to see one (which isn't surprising of course, as I do understand the concept of things being random. Frustrating, but not surprising)
