You have to bind "secondary actions" in the keybinding menu.

I bind keys 12345 for actions 12345

Q for action 6 (one of the shivaan forms)
E for action 7 (one of the shivaan forms + hammer toss + super jump)

The special ability is 10 but I usually click (I've done it the last couple of times without ever needing a crystal focus).

I usually do all the bindings by selecting "character specific key bindings" at the top of the options, then after doing the encounter unselecting it will revert your bindings to what you had before. (this doesn't work if you're already using character specific binds)

It means that somebody was extremely slow on the first part - there's actually a timer. If you don't destroy the shield fast enough, it will gib you. You have to be fantastically bad to do it, but don't underestimate the power of a failure.

I've completed the event twice now. Both times, Shartuul's eyestalks bugged out, making his section completely trivial. My first attempt was a failure on the Terrorguard sequence, my third attempt was a wipe due to complete stupidity and arrogance on the Shivan Assassin portion, and my fifth was a wipe on the Terrorguard portion. I just want to mention that the Terrorguard part is horrible. Get it down well, and you can one-shot it every time. The problem is, this is the only section where you can really end up so screwed that you actually need the special. Why"? Because you basically have something like ten seconds to kill Mo'args when they spawn. Longer than that and they get healed, buffed, and temporarily made invulnerable by the Gan'args. This makes it take too long to focus the stupid thing down, which can result in the fel cannons eating your face. (Well, unless you have a friend there to exploit them.) This wouldn't be a problem if it weren't possible to miss with the demon's attacks...these mobs really should have a 100% hit rate.

Oh, and it may just be that I'm better at the Terrorguard sequence now and so notice it more, but it's possible to throw axe, get in range of a mob, and hit it too quickly - thus causing it to not yet be stunned by the axe throw, which against a Mo'arg is quite likely to result in your needing to pop the bombs towards the end of the sequence.

It's just irritating that one mistake with a Mo'arg up will generally ruin you even though you can slop your way through the rest of it. (I recast siphon life right before a death blast so often that it's not even funny.)

Oh, by the way, for those who are experiencing the "Terrorguard's life gets low during fel flames" bug, fear it. That'll break the fel flames and the life drain will resume normally.

I've gotten a Depleted Sword and Depleted Gloves from this so far - too bad I seem to be the only pally tank in the server who actually uses/wants a Crystalforged Sword.

It was me who wrote that on wowwiki, based on the spell description and my own pre-patch experience (5 kills, no Incinerates after I focused on keeping myself cleansed). I got my first Darkrune post-patch today and he's indeed doing it all the time now. Could also be related to range (wowhead states 60 yard range and as far as I can remember all other spells are 80 yard).

The whole event seemed not working as intended in a way. Had a fear resist in the Felguard vs Doomguard fight after he used Fel Flames, resulting in getting 15 seconds of heavy damage which is probably not survivable for the average player (was down from 88% to 32%, I usually see people starting the fight at ~60%). Having permanent Fel Flames on when using the Doomguard just makes it too easy. Eye of Shartuul gave me two back to back Dark Glares when he was at 2% HP (managed to kill it before he got the second off, might be intended as an enrage of sorts). Dreadmaw didn't do his emote half of the time (altough I still got the debuff). Shartuul's eye stalks didn't actually do anything to anyone.

The incinerate can be outranged, so it's all really trivial. If you get caught in cooldown, can't ice form, just run away from him.

Are there any addons that will show me the cooldowns on the bosses abilities as well as the debuff timer of say siphon life? None of my addons will show me the debuff timers since I'm controlling a pet and its a pain trying to guess when 1 minute is close.

Dotimer has a cooldown monitor which shows petabilities:
http://www-en.curse-gaming.com/downloads/details/3260/

You can use that timer to switch to shadowform shortly before the dot runs out and shodwbolt for some extra healing (which consumes the dot)

since all of the last 3 bosses seem to dispell themselves quite often, i usually shadowbolt imedeatly after aplying the dot.

I have never seen a Siphon Life drop off early.

Coming back to the original discussion, I grind the raiders just south of Area52 for fun when I have spare time. From my experience they drop Ethereum Prison Keys more often than in the past - I typically get 1 key for 10 insignias on average at the moment. It seems to be totally random since I once got 3 keys (!) for 10 insignias. On the side I also typically get one stack of netherweave cloth and one green item per 10 insignias collected. Clearly due to this this spot is the best to grind for Consortium rep, and for keys as well I believe - the drop rate for keys seems to be significantly lower in the area surrounding the Ethereum grounds (I have never seen a jailor there tbh) and the mobs are harder to kill.

It happens to me regularly, I'll try and /combatlog next time I do the event.

Sometimes my timing sucks, Siphon dispelled really early, switch to shadowform just before getting the slow/shadow/fire debuffs put on me. Nothing a chaos blast can't fix, but still ...

I think the key droprate has been buffed significantly. This is, of course, anecdotal, but where Mana-Tombs heroic used to only net me 1-3 keys, the last time I was there it dropped 13. 13!!!!!!! Of course now I have no use for them as I'm long since 999/1000.

This goes back to an earlier part of this thread, the ethereum prison chain leading up to yor but I feel it is worth knowing for those who haven't finished that off yet. Anyways I think most people can understand/guess that stasis chambers of the mana tombs (the quest to open the globe right after the first boss) can be stealthed by a rogue or druid. Some others may know that a mage can do it as well. What very few people know I would wager is that it can be done by any class in the game. I completed mine a few days ago with invisibility potions. Anyhow here is a little mini-guide to doing this.

First obtain at least 3 invisibility potions (Not lesser because those don't last as long). Three is the minimum number possible to use but I would strongly strongly reccommend you get at least 10. When I tried it myself I had 7 and barely managed to get it with one potion left and had quite a scare.

Once you have your potions set the difficulty to heroic and zone in. I would reccommend getting a friend in your group because when I did it the instance reset too often and I had to wait. Not sure if this will prevent this but it may help. Anyways take off all your gear before attempting this because you will die.

Basic info on the invisibility potions. They have been changed at some point recently from their previous form to a clone of the mage stealth (albeit with 2 less seconds). They give perfect stealth as long as they are up but unlike the mage stealth They Can Not Be Used In Combat! This means you will need to time each of your stealths very precisely and drop yourself somewhere you can be safe for your cooldown.

Okay enough of that here are the spots. You will need to use your first potion as close to the first pull as you can. I did this at a pillar in the hallway which worked but if you are not sure where test this out your self. Also having some kind of extra speed enchant is key. The first time I wiped on this quest I didn't have one so I put back on my boots (with boar's speed) and that made making it to safety in time much easier.

Once you stealth from your first potion head to the end of the initial hallway then turn left. Make your way on to the rockpile as far from the mobs as you can. You should easily be able to get out of agro range in the time you have as long as you don't get caught on obstructions. Then you will need to wait 10 minutes for your potions cooldown. This gets tedius but if you head as far into the corner as you can you can safely afk these 10 minutes without trouble.

Once your cooldown expires you will then use your next potion. This one is the scariest but also the easiest honestly. Make sure you start as close to the boss as you can while still on your rock pile. Don't be dangerous but this was pretty easy to judge for me. I triggered my potion while in the air and ran to where I needed to go but I honestly had a few seconds to spare.

It will look like you can not do this but there is a really really small deadzone between the first boss and the pulls after him that you can sit on for your 10 minutes. They will be agonizing but it is doable. Getting past them on one potion though is not (I tried much to my horror).

Here is the easy part though. This deadzone is clearly marked by a line on the floor, basically it is a threshold between the boss and those behind him. Stand here and wait for your 10 minutes and then pop another potion in that exact spot. I wouldn't try to get a running start because you will have plenty of time.

You are now pretty much home free. You will want to run all the way to the north of the blob in the little vestibule and then unstealth. Trigger the blob as far away from the mana-worms as you can and you should be able to get it. Make sure you read the dialogue and get the credit for the quest and then hearth. You are home free. You have 5 badges and almost 25g. If you were already exalted you have another 25g and your Unlimited use Yor key as well for no extra work.

A note is that I would hearth once you are sure you have credit. I lingered around congratulating myself and got nailed by a mana-worm. So this makes me believe that it may be possible to get nailed while trying to open the blob.

This stuff sounds easy on paper but you will probably mess up the execution at least a time or two. And remember you will need 3 potions to complete this. You most likely will only wipe after your first or second potion though.

Enjoy the tip and your badges . Hope this helps some people. I wish I had seen something this rather than saying "well...I'm lazy and I could do this in brd so maybe it is possible," and then winging it and dropping 20g on the pots and repairs and things.

Sell them. Any item used to power level reputation for a useful faction is worth a lot of money to the right people. The keys have an added bonus of giving you greens (almost) every time you open a prison chamber, which makes them even more valuable.

Very true. They're going for almost 100G each on my server.

After wasting 2 Darkrunes on stupid mistakes, I finally made it to Shartuul and was going well, only to have him evade after one of his knockbacks got the assassin stuck in the teleporter.

So a word of advice, be careful where you position your assassin on this stage to prevent it bugging out.

The keybinds information from above was very helpful and certainly made it a lot easier.

As of yesterday night, got 6 kills of Stasis Chamber mobs with no drop (that's 30 keys for nothing). Welcome to the club :S Well, I suppose at least I'm halfway to Exalted with Consortium.

This has been mentioned before I think, but farming for keys at the Heap is the best option imo. Ride around on the mount aggroing about 4-5 at a time, Frost Nova, Trinket, Arcane Power, Arcane Explosion spam, loot, repeat. Easy for a mage

Aoe farming the heap is definitely way to go, even as a holy/prot paladin it's not too painful.
