Black Temple And Hyjal Bosses List!

I posted this partially on worldofraids but between the lag and some errors in their forums I can't edit it and it cut part of my post off.

After digging through the MPQs and doing some research this appears to be the boss lists for BT and Hyjal. If you have some more info please post.

Black Temple (In no particular Order)
Illidan
Mother Shahraz
Lady Malande
High Warlord Najentus
Teron Gorefiend
Gathios the Shatterer
Veras Darkshadow
Gurogg Bloodboil
High Nethermancer Zerevor (Possibly just an NPC and not a boss)
Essence of Desire/Grief/Anger (These may be mini bosses, part of one of the other encounters, seperate, or all together, I don't know but you definately fight them)

Caverns of Time: Hyjal (In no particular order)
Kaz Rogal
Azgalor
Anetheron
Rage Winterchill
Archimonde

This is NOT 100% confirmed but appears to be the case based on sound files etc in the MPQ. Overall this looks pretty good, about 10 bosses in BT pleases me, similar to another Naxx type instance I hope.

UPDATE:

Based on more sound files it appears that for a (the attunement?) Black Temple quest Illidian asks Akama (and you) to kill Pheonix Al'ar from the Eye. There is a discussion between him and Akama labeled as BTPRLUDE_*.wav files. Anyway, just another thought, I assume you have to get your rep up to friendly or so then do a quest for Akama that ends with him speaking to Illidin in your presence where you get this quest for the attunement. I would post the series of wav files, but I'm pretty sure posting them is a EULA violation.

^^^^^^ Agree x1000, Ditto for Illidan and Kael'Thas. WC3 Voice actors were so, so much better. I think it's most puzzling for Illidan because he had the same voice in the cinematic for TBC, and now it's so whiney and high pitched =/.

New voices that sound good though(we aren't all hate): Leotheras, Hydross.

On a side note, how are you getting exact names for bosses? My sound files are just numbers, and I didn't see any of those names other than Illidan/Gorefiend in the model files. Teach please =p

Mine just comes up with the names. O_o

Maiev is the same exact actor thankfully.

Kel'Thuzad also had a cool voice, the laugh when he killed a member of your raid was priceless

By using a program that uses the Blizzard listfile, it's basically a key to the algorithm.

Azgalor is one of the only surviving Pit Lords(one of 2 I believe if we consider Magtheridon dead at this point). At the time of Hyjal he would be fresh of a promotion from Mannaroth being killed by Hellscream+Thrall. Unless there's a rewrite about to happen we don't kill him, because he is in the Twisting Nether right now plotting revenge on all life.

Anetheron was 2nd in command to Tichondrius in the Nathrezim. Not much else to note.

Gorefiend is a legendary killer, and leader of Gul'Dans Shadow Council at one point, he was killed by Doomhammer and reincarnated as a death knight. I was actually confused the first time I saw him because he looked inhuman kinda, even though he was supposed to be reincarnated in the body of a Stormwind knight. I'd assume we'll learn more as to why he allied with Illidan soon.

Assuming you know about Archimonde already since you were actually interested in the lore, so I'll skip that and say the rest of the mentioned are relative nobodies, flavor bosses.

Edit: About the list file, thanks, I was just using browsing through the files in the mpq and extracting ones with .wav, not actually going through with the internal listfile.

You forgot to mention that Rage Winterchill was a Lich with red bones and the ability to Finger of Death your Taurens into delicious giblets.

Concerning Illidan and his model animations, there is a Death animation, and I guess while the Blue saying of, "You don't exactly kill him as much as get in his way" (sic), anyone know the basis/truth on the rumor that Maiev Shadowsong is actually the one that finishes him off?
