Skettis Information
Finally finished the Skettis questline (assuming nothing more opens up at higher rep levels... can't really think of much to do after killing their god) so here is the scoop:
You will initially get a quest to collect 6 Shadow Dusts. When you turn them in you will get some Elixir of Shadow and it will open up the repeatable rep turnin of 1 Shadow Dust -> 1 Elixir/250rep/8g. Shadow Dust drops like candy at the moment so you should never run out of Elixir and you will gain rep fast.
The Elixir of Shadow allows you to see "Timelost" mobs in Skettis, these are ghostly mobs that you normally can't interact with, much like the mobs in Shadowmoon. Timelost mobs drop Time-Lost Scrolls, which I will come back to later.
Your next quest is to kill 3 named Timelost mobs. They are non-elite and this is fairly easy. One of them will drop a journal. This starts the next step of your quest.
You will be sent to Shattrath, then back to Skettis. Now you will get a quest to retreive an item for someone. Once again, simple and straightforward, it is just where the NPC tells you it is.
You are then sent in "disguise" to talk to an NPC on the island in the center, you have to buy a book from him and take it back to the camp.
Once you have completed all this easy stuff you are given the quest Adversarial Blood. This is the mindnumbing, want to gouge ones eyes out, why oh why would Blizzard do this to us, section of the quest. This quest is to get 4 items from 4 elite mobs summoned from the bonepiles scattered throughout Skettis. They aren't very hard elites, could probably be 3 maned although it would be slow imo. They are not soloable, and I doubt you could do it without a healer at least, and preferably a real tank. They each drop 1 Rare quality item, either a random "of the" item or a specific one to that mob. They each drop 1 quest item, which only one person in the group gets! That may not seem so bad until you realize you have to farm 20 Time-Lost Scrolls per summon, so each person in the group needs 80 Time-Lost Scrolls. The scrolls are semi-rare drops off the Timelost mobs as I said earlier. So yeah.... this takes awhile.
Once you have completed this quest, you receive a quest to kill Terokk. Blizzard has mercy on you here because you don't have to farm anything! Go to the center island and summon him. He is somewhat interesting, and harder than the previous bosses (you should really have 5 for him at least). He does Shadowbolt Volleys, and this sort of "AoE stun", where he chooses someone to hit while ignoring everyone else. I beleive he had some other abilities I didn't personally experience as well. At low health he goes immune, and well, I'll leave it up to everyone to figure out what to do, Blizzard surely won't hold your hand through the final part of the encounter! :p
Terokk drops a blue item as well, nothing special. The quest just gives you a bunch of gold, no rewards.
And that is it!
Here are some of the unique items that drop off the mini-bosses:
Karrog's Shard
Off Hand
Equip: Increases spell critical strike rating by 12
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 35
Gezzarak's Fang
Neck
+15 Intellect
Equip: Increases healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 57
Equip: Restores 4 mana every 5 seconds
Here is what Terokk dropped for us:
Terokk's Gavel of the Invoker
One Hand Mace
39-127 / 2.00 speed
41.5 DPS
+14 Intellect
+16 Spell Damage and Healing
+14 Spell Critical Strike Rating
Equip: Increases damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by up to 121

Also, are Terrok and Terokkar related or is this Blizz just trying to get us to misspell the region even more frequently?

They are all level 70, and it isn't Blizzard confusing you it is me, I am misspelling it (notice it is spelled Terokk in the SS's). I'll go back and correct the spelling.

Ya I deleted my question after your screenshots answered it. The "of the" items are bop I assume?

Thanks for the info. I've always looked forward to seeing what they would do with the much-hyped Terokk, though it is a bit underwhelming. Are you able to summon Terokk again after completing the quest?

I have been aggroing these mobs without the elixir active. Hopefully it will be fixed before it goes live (I've reported it), but if you're on the PTR and randomly dying in Skettis like I have been, you now know what is happening.

How is respawn time ? And how crowded do you expect the new quest hubs to be around patch release ? Basically....Is there enough to go around for a mass influx of level 70's ?

Well, I would guess the "drag him to the fires" bit in the chat logs would be a hint :p
That item he drops is weird, I really wonder why Blizzard makes an item that has a "equip bonus: +125 dmg/heal", and then also adds to the base item "+16 dmg/heal". wtf?
Kind of a bummer though that content Blizzard took a few months to develop is being finished in basically 1-2 days by hardcore people
I was on the PTRs on and off yesterday (the servers are booting people off constantly), the quest hubs are fairly small (ogre one, netherwing, skettis) and on PVP servers its going to be a nightmare or a lot of fun, depending on your POV. Most people are going to go for the netherwing one first I would imagine (especially due to the day limits), its pretty much new mobs and camps but same size as before - netherwing island in shadowmoon.

It isn't that unusual (At least, any more), it's just a blue spell damage mace with random suffix. The same thing happens with the random green spell damage daggers you can find sometimes. Plus it's been happening before with some random items with fixed stats, I'm pretty sure I remember someone having Dark Iron Boots of Fire Resistance for example.

Its looks to me its because its actually Terrok's Gavel of random enchantment, the 125 dmg/heal is cause of the Gavel and the of the Invoker random enchant that adds the dmg/heal and spell crit.

Or you could read the debuff tooltip (moused over) in the second screenshot like Gwaihir says. :P

The new content is clearly not for the "hardcore" people. Its just that much more lore related quests, and new areas to explore for the "non hardcore casual".

Bad flashbacks to Silithus here, but even at that it's nowhere near the level of insanity you had for CC faction.

It isn't nearly as bad as that. Assuming you are just farming the bosses for their drops, the needed scrolls aren't to extreme, it is when you are trying to get an entire 5-man group through the quest that it becomes crappy.

I'm about halfway through Honored, but atm rep has very little to do with that questline. There are plenty of people with more rep than me who have hardly touched the questline I'm sure. All you have to do to grind rep is kill the non-Timelost, collect Shadow Dust, and turn the Shadow Dust in for massive amounts of rep.
I havn't really done that since JUST rep grinding on the Test realm when I already know how a specific rep grind works seems kinda pointless (You do the questlines to see what is involved, and make sure they work, not to actually get the rewards at the end).

Well, I guess Terokk's Gavel of the Champion would be my new tanking weapon (after a lot of farming) if I wasn't going to buy the Gladiator's Gavel on patch day. At least there's a couple more options now.
This repeatable 5-man content sounds like it'll really hit the spot for someone like me who's not always in the mood for heroics but can't seem to round up a raid team 24/7 Something to do apart from mining on my slow mount.

Is there any spillover rep to Shat'ar and Lower City factions when completing these quests? Or are they just for Skettis?
