On live we still have 2 Undefeated Bosses, as well as 2 Bosses that have only been defeated 1 time. Assuming Al'ar and Solarian have at least 6 non-set drops, thats an addition 10 unseen items, Kael'thas and Vashj prolly have at least 8 drops a piece, adding an additional 14, for a conservative estimate of 24 unseen items (prolly is more in reality).

Just cuz the fights are horribly tuned and possibly undeafeatble, doesnt mean they are 100% itemized.

It's mostly impossible to do anything on test, but I finally got my box. It has a wierd mix of kara loot and loot I've never seen before. Aside from the heal stuff in that screen above, there's a neck that is something like 22 sta, 18 int, 73 healing, 6 mana / 5.

There's a bunch of paladin pieces still itemized for pure crit with no mana/5 of course.

Rogue Loot for Black Temple Raiding, left out the T5 pieces... but its disappointing, the lack of +hit...

gain through enchants -> 193 ap, 1,88 crit, 26hit
its such a minor upgrade, and such a HUGE loss on +hit

It stings a bit that their choice of trinkets for Shaman was Rejuvenating Gem and Scarab of Infinite Cycle. I was hoping for upgrades pre-BT.

Yeah, with white gems and no chants the difference is tremendous. They kind of defeated the purpose of handing out free T5 without having free blue-quality (or green at bare minimum) gems and enchants to go with it.

I stuck a buncha 4 hit gems in mine and used some of my current items that wouldn't break the set and ended up with -27 hit and -100 AP and a buncha stam+ and a crit+ so it is viable to get an upgrade, but I would suggest sending a gem alt over to give you good gems for it. an

Looks to be a "ooh look at the new shiney purples, I must keep playing" ploy. But I think for those that have a shot at actually seeing that loot anytime this summer its a failed plot because its sidegrades in alot of cases, still, and loot wasnt the sole killer of raid morale. For the rest of the population who are still working on Gruul/Mag/finishing up Kara, it was un neeeded "motivation"

I laughed and cried a little bit when I realized that out of Blackwing Lair, AQ40, Naxxramas, SSC, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon's Lair, The Eye, Karazhan, and countless 5 mans and heroics, Blizzard has been unable to make a trinket better than Rejuvenating Gem or DFT for some classes.

Yeah without top quality gems and enchants, the gear isnt that great. I guess I'll have to get some guildies on the PTR so we can share resources

He's handing them out for free, yes, just like the Naxxramas NPC.

Hybrids need to really fish around all the class boxes to get proper gear, and even then if you don't have some of your own from your xfer'd char you're probably SoL, as some of the really good pieces just aren't there. Infact, melee classes in general seem very lacking(some of the warrior tank pieces are just bad compared to easy to get live items, and there's like no +hit gear given out, better get some dawnstones =/)

Also some people are linking pieces I didn't see in any of the class boxes(got 1 of each just to browse) this one posted by heel looks good but I didn't see it, there are others but I didn't take screens.

Reputation Ring for the Hyjal Instance.

It seems unfortunate that ring is the only thing I saw of anything posted thats pretty sweet looking. Anyone got screenshots of the other Hyjal rep rings then?

Definitely Exalted rep ring. The fact you can turn it in to 'reverse the process' (take another one) supports that.

Has BT actually been playable for anyone? Lag for me, even as late as 1am server time, has made actually getting anything done a pipe dream.

Anyone done any instance testing? I really think the reason why blizz did this is because there were heavy complaints that there wasn't enough (if any) PTR testing of raid instances post gruul. Was in there with a handful of random pickups but certainly nothing one could pull any trash with (well we did ...)

On another note that I hadn't seen mentioned (maybe missed it) the neck "Medallion of Karabor". Having this is required to enter the instance hence I think it's a good bet that acquiring it is the end of the actual attunement.

The instance testing goodie boxes actually contain two necklaces, one utility one and this one.

How did you acquire this information?

Edit: Actually went there myself, and this dialog showed up . . . however, a Paladin guildmate saw nothing of the sort. Weird.
